Health Educator is responsible for developing and designing health education programs meant to increase community awareness and knowledge. Conducts needs assessments and keeps up-to-date on changes in health care technology to keep program material current. Being a Health Educator develops, coordinates, and disseminates educational resources and materials. May provide health education outreach and consultation. Additionally, Health Educator requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Health Educator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. We have been open for 13 years and are looking to grow our team as we make our big move to our brand newly constucted building in south College Station.

-Help families find and follow jesus
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the classroom
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and educational activities
- Observe and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior and implement behavior management strategies when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, progress, and development
```Qualifications:```
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for children
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability in working with diverse groups of children
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus
