Adagio Health Inc is looking to hire one (1) full-time Health Educator for its office in Meadville, PA to serve Crawford and Venango County partners.

For over 50 years, Adagio Health (AH) has provided health, wellness, & nutrition services in Pennsylvania (PA). Today, the organization serves approximately 100,000 patients & clients annually. While women's health is a primary focus for the organization, reproductive health, breast & cervical cancer screening, & preventive health services are also offered to men, teens, members of the LGBTQ community, & anyone in need of care in a welcoming, confidential setting. AH operates 9 medical offices in western PA that also address social determinants of health such as food insecurity, behavioral health, & care navigation; manages the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) program in 5 PA counties; promotes tobacco/vaping prevention & cessation; oversees breast & cervical cancer screening & treatment programs across PA; & empowers local communities to address nutritional, reproductive, & behavioral health; positive relationship building; & life skills through an array of clinical & education programs.

HEALTH EDUCATOR PROGRAMS

The Health Educator will support the implementation of:

1. Power Up program- a SNAP-Education program delivering nutrition and physical activity to the low-income population along with public health approaches to support implementing education into action.
2. Teen Outreach Program (TOP)- a social-emotional learning curricula designed for middle and high school youth.
3. Additional programs related to public health as applicable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Initiates and delivers education in a variety of settings.
2. Ensures curricula is delivered as intended following program guidance and guidelines.
3. Delivers engaging, interactive, and concise lessons.
4. Builds relationships with program partners to enhance program delivery and effectiveness.
5. Maintains regular communication with program partners.
6. Initiates, leads, and provides technical assistance on supporting projects-based partner needs.
7. Delivers indirect channels.
8. Completes all required documentation, data tracking, and data entry by determined deadlines.
9. Provides high quality customer service and participant recruitment in coordination with other Adagio Health initiatives as appropriate.
10. Collaborates with other educators to share ideas.
11. Works/travels in any offices as needed.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: BS degree in public health, education, nutrition or a related field. Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to: develop, provide and evaluate education programming. Experience in youth education in a school setting and in public health is desirable. Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable car. Travel is required on a regular basis.
