SUMMARY: The Head of Girls Soccer is responsible for supporting the mission, vision and goals of Virginia United FC as defined by the Board of Directors and Head of Soccer. It is expected that you will work in partnership with all additional staff members and volunteers. The essential duties are the minimum expectation and additional duties can be assigned ad-hoc based on new club programs/initiatives and club needs as they arrive.

Essential duties & responsibilities

• Oversight of all Girls programs

• Manage all Girls tryout responsibilities including depth charts, player evals, coaching assignments

• Build teams & placements for all Girls teams

• Coach 2 Girls teams

• (LMA) Lead, Manage, and hold accountable staff & coaches

• Enforce the importance of positive relationships with player, coach, families, college coaches and league management

• Enforce club culture with staff & players & club curriculum

• Evaluate, develop & mentor coaches

• Handle player retention, recruitment and player identification

• Manage set up & take down duties on match days

• Work with players to develop pathways for pursuing opportunities at the next level

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in youth sports leadership

• 5 years of youth coaching experience

• Minimum of a USSF C License | USC Premier Diploma

Salary and Benefits

· $48,000 - $60,000 - paid monthly

· $250 monthly insurance stipend

· 3% Simple IRA match
