About Distance Education:
Distance Education provides an entirely asynchronous, online learning experience that adapts to the unique circumstances of each student. Our fully accredited bachelor's and master's degree programs, as well as non-degree credits, empower learners to shape their own educational journey. With 8 five-week terms for undergraduates and 5 eight-week terms for graduate students, our model offers unparalleled flexibility. You can learn at your own pace, and take breaks as needed. The Opportunity:
Unity Environmental University seeks enthusiastic individuals to serve as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support the development of an upper-level undergraduate course in Health Coaching. This course introduces learners to the field of health coaching and provides opportunities for them to develop a skillset related to this field. SMEs work closely with an academic dean and learning experience designer to advise on and develop curricula.

Qualifications

Do you have the skills?

• An advanced degree (Master’s minimum) in a health-related field with significant professional experience in health and wellness coaching.
• Knowledge of the field of health coaching, including best practices for supporting diverse clients’ outcome goals.
• Familiarity with trends in health coaching, including technological tools and data-driven approaches.
• Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately.
• Experience with online teaching and/or distance learners is desirable.
• Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the University.

The Location:
Unity Environmental University's Distance Education curriculum is 100% online. Our Distance Education Adjuncts will teach remotely.
