A growing mental health private practice is looking for a contract part-time mental health therapist ( 2 to 3 days a week(Wednesday ,Thursday or Friday) to provide face to face outpatient therapy for adults (adolescents can be added as needs change if desired ) June start date.

The therapist will assess the patient's mental condition based on review of patient information, assessment and observation to diagnose and treat mental health disorders. This is an ideal position for a self-starting individual who appreciates autonomy in their work and is eager to grow their patient case load but desires a multi-therapist environment that allows for collaboration and peer interaction.

We are seeking an individual who is looking to grow with the practice and seeking long-term employment. Must be a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern or Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern or eligible to become one .

Office, electronic records management platform with tele-health option, Administrative Support and scheduling assistance and advertising provided.

Responsibilities:

Provide empathy to patients and establish a positive rapport
Maintain confidentiality of records relating to patients and their treatment
Demonstrate knowledge of DSM-V mental health disorders and criteria to diagnose and treat patients
Collaborate with patient to develop treatment based on individual patient needs
Monitor client progress during course of treatment

Opportunity to collaborate with other therapists in the office

Qualifications:

MUST Hold a minimum of a master’s degree in counseling or marriage and family therapy.

New graduate , Registered Intern (RMHCI or RMFTI only)

Supervision is provided for FREE for RMHCI & RMFTI

***Prior experience and desire in working with trauma***

Willingness to work evenings as patient needs vary

Trained in TF-CBT , EMDR, IFS, DBT (Preferred)

Job Types: Part-time Independent Contractor.

Pay: $45-150 per hour (Depending on experience)

Work schedule : Wednesday, Thursday or Fridays (2 to 3 days a week to start) with option to add on more days as your caseload grows if desired. ** June start date****
