Head of Intensive Care Unit jobs in Tennessee

An established, growing healthcare facility in beautiful Eastern Tennessee is actively seeking an Intensive Care Unit RN to join their team!

At less than 100 beds, this short term acute care facility is able to provide high quality, individualized care to patients in the surrounding community, offering a range of medical services: 24-hour emergency care, advanced and minimally invasive inpatient and outpatient surgical services, women's health services, oncology, radiology, and more! This hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission, is a recognized stroke and chest pain center, and was recently renovated within the past 10 years.

The Intensive Care Unit RN will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of all assigned ICU patients. Specific duties include:

• Assisting physicians and advanced with rounding, patient examinations, and various procedures in the critical care unit
• Providing care for patients with critical IV drips, ventilation support, arterial lines, and central lines
• Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high quality patient care outcomes
• Serving as liaison between patients, ICU physicians and advanced practitioners, and patient families to provide optimal patient care and effective communication
