Head of Housekeeping jobs in Ogden, UT
Head of Housekeeping directs and coordinates the daily operations of a housekeeping services department to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. Conducts inspections of facilities and recommends repairs and upgrades when needed. Being a Head of Housekeeping ensures compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. May create quality standards and monitors the implementation. Additionally, Head of Housekeeping may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Head of Housekeeping typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Head of Housekeeping typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Joni's Housekeeping is a local cleaning company looking for help Monday-Friday and an occasional Saturday. We serve areas from Willard to Woods Cross and pay travel time in between homes and offices. Must be very dependable, honest and able to work at a fast pace but still detailed in your work. Must be a team player, we work with cleaning partners. We clean mainly homes but we do have a few offices.
Our first house begins at 9 and our days are usually over between 2 and 4. Valid drivers license and vehicle are required to get from house to house..
Must submit to drug test and background check. Must take great pride in their work and have a high standard of what clean really is. Pay starts between $12.00 and $16.00 but if you show your worth, you can move up quickly.Job Type: Contract
