Head of Housekeeping jobs in Fitchburg, MA
Head of Housekeeping directs and coordinates the daily operations of a housekeeping services department to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. Conducts inspections of facilities and recommends repairs and upgrades when needed. Being a Head of Housekeeping ensures compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. May create quality standards and monitors the implementation. Additionally, Head of Housekeeping may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Head of Housekeeping typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Head of Housekeeping typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. We are seeking a reliable and caring housekeeper/Nanny to provide exceptional childcare for our children. As a housekeeper/Nanny, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children in your care. Your primary focus will be on their well-being, development, and happiness.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and ensure the safety of the children at all times
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks for the children
- Assist with homework and educational activities
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Follow parents' guidelines regarding discipline and routines
- Accompany children to appointments or extracurricular activities as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents about the children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise
Qualifications:
- Genuine love for children and a passion for their well-being and development
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with both children and parents
- Ability to cook nutritious meals for the children
- Willingness to perform light housekeeping duties related to childcare
