Functions and Responsibilities

• Understands and adheres to established policies and procedures.
• Provides therapy services, treatments and diagnostic and preventive procedures as assigned.
• Teaches and counsels the patient and family/significant others regarding the therapy care needs and other related problems of the patient at home.
• Maintains accurate and complete records of observations, treatments and care of patient.
• Attends staff meetings and in-services as scheduled.
• Assists the patient/family in learning appropriate self-care techniques.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of registered nursing and currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing.
• At least one (3) year experience as a Registered Nurse.
• (2) years of supervisory experience of other RNs
• (2) years of experience working in a Home Health Agency
• Acceptance of philosophy and goals of this Agency.
• Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment with excellent communication skills.
• Completion of a Home Health training program prior to providing care.

Pay: From $140,000.00 per year
