Head of Anesthesiology is responsible for the efficient operation of anesthesia services. Develops, implements, and maintains anesthesia procedures and practices. Being a Head of Anesthesiology works closely with hospital staff, department directors, and physicians to ensure the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. Manages a staff of anesthesia technicians and nurses. Additionally, Head of Anesthesiology requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a top management. The Head of Anesthesiology manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Head of Anesthesiology typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Qualifications: Basic knowledge of proper housekeeping, floor care, and maintenance procedures; ability to learn proper equipment operation and new procedures; human relations skills; ability to lift sixty (60) pounds.

Responsibilities:
1. Perform general custodial duties including floor care and general cleaning.
2. Maintain outside appearance of building, walks, and alley.
3. Perform snow removal.
4. Assist other building personnel with special projects.
5. Acquire general knowledge of building mechanical systems.
6. Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the building manager or the custodial supervisor.
Performing the job duties of this position requires the following physical demands: lift fifty (50) lbs. occasionally, additional occasional lifting less than 50 lbs., reaching, standing, walking, carrying, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, sitting, and/or crawling.
