Position: Head of People and Culture
Location: On-Site (Fairfield, NJ)
Reports to: CEO
Principal Purpose of Position:
As the Head of People and Culture you will drive all aspects of human resources, talent acquisition, and organizational culture. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HR best practices, employee engagement, and be instrumental in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
Essential Job Duties:
- Develop and implement HR Strategies aligned with the organization’s overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive organizational growth and success through effective people management.
- Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Develop and implement retention strategies to foster a high-performing and motivated workforce.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on all HR-Related issues.
- Implement and oversee employee relations programs, ensuring a positive and respectful workplace culture.
- Develop and manage performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to managers on goal setting and performance improvement plans.
- Drive a culture of continuous feedback and professional development.
- Learning and Development:
- Implement training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Identify and support career development opportunities for employees.
- Culture and Employee Engagement:
- Champion a positive organizational culture that aligns with company values
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall well-being.
- Ensure Compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Mitigate legal risk by staying informed about changes in legislation and industry best practices.
- Utilize data and analytics to assess HR Metrics and drive informed decision-making.
- Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on key HR performance indicators.
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI):
- Lead Initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
- Work towards creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and supported
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in human resources with Active HR Certification (SHRM-CP Preferred)
- 10 years’ experience in Human Resource management with proven track record of success
- In depth knowledge of HR best practices, Labor Relations, Employment Law, and Industry trends
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Experience in leading HR for a portfolio of businesses domestically and working with multiple partners.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR Strategies that align with business goals.
