CARESTL HEALTH is a Non for Profit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving St. Louis communities and school-based operations. We are searching for a Director of Ancillary Services to join our team!

Position Summary:

The Director of Ancillary Services plans, directs and monitors all financial activities for the Laboratory, Radiology and Pharmacy departments and keeps the organization's CFO and management informed on the financial condition of the services. This position is responsible for the overall supervision of billing, submittal and collection of charges for services. Director of Ancillary Services participates in the decision-making processes necessary for the successful attainment of the organization's mission, in addition to maintaining an awareness of changes in healthcare matters that could have an impact on the success of CareSTL Health.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting and payroll for Laboratory, Radiology, and Pharmacy departments.
• Prepare annual operations budgets and grant budgets with input and involvement at the departmental level; work with all department managers throughout the year to insure that expenditures adhere to legal and budgetary requirements.
• Prepare capital budgets and cash flow projections.
• Prepare monthly and annual reports of estimated future costs and revenues to the CFO, , CEO, COO, CMO and Board of Directors.
• Direct internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting degree required. Master's Degree, preferred.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required. CPA is required. At least 5 - 10 years experience in FQHC healthcare center preferred.

• Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
