Visiting Ancillary Services was founded in April 2010, and we provide full-service programs to over 120 facilities. We deliver the finest outreach programs to residents, and we believe each resident should leave us with a smile and a happy demeanor.

Responsibilities will include:
- Interviews patients when possible or POA
- Performs eye exams and vision tests
- Prescribes and fits eyeglasses, contact lenses, eye drops, and/or other allowed medications
- Detects diseases, injuries, and disorders related to the eyes
- Counsels patients, patients’ families, and nursing home facility staff members on results of testing and recommendations for treatment
- Refers to primary care providers and/or other medical professionals as necessary
- Tracks facilities visited, vision aid fittings, new patients tested, vision aids recommended, and follow-up appointments
Requirements:
- Valid Colorado Optometry license
- Three years experience in the optometry field
- Knowledge of RevolutionEHR or similar optometry practice management software preferred
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
