Head Nurse - Quality Improvement - Home Care jobs in South Bend, IN

Quality Correctional Care is looking for a Licensed Nurse to join our team. This person is responsible for assisting physicians while providing treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions. He/she will administer medication, monitor and record patient progress, and educate families and the patient as needed.

Nurse's Purpose: This position is designed to provide necessary support to other team members with the common goal of providing excellent patient care and service to our clients. (LPN/RN) Day to day tasks include but are not limited to:

• Seeing patients for medical complaints, both acute and chronic
• Performing 14-day physicals on all patients
• Managing their chronic medical conditions by monitoring labs and medication efficiency
• Working with the dentist to ensure that our patients oral care is addressed
• Responding to medical emergencies
• Working hand in hand with physicians, PA's, NP's and correctional staff who all have the same goal of optimal patient care

(LPN/RN) Open Positions: PT Nights-1 Shift per week-6:00pm-6:00am OR 6:00am-6:00pm

(LPN/RN) Pay: Based on employee licensure and previous experiences.

(LPN/RN) Location: LaPorte County Jail
