Participates in and serves as a resource to quality improvement committees. Being a Head Nurse - Quality Improvement - Home Care tracks and analyzes trends and outcome reports and advises management on areas to improve upon. May be responsible to ensure all institute or government regulations are adhered to. Additionally, Head Nurse - Quality Improvement - Home Care requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Head Nurse - Quality Improvement - Home Care supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Midwest Quality Home Care is looking for a dedicated QP (RN) to join our team. Our agency provides services to pediatric, geriatric and adult clients in the twin cities.
Qualifications
The qualified professional develops the care plan, using the assessment as a foundation. The QP trains, evaluates and oversees the individual personal care assistants. Only certain professionals can be QPs. QPs must pass a background study and complete training before enrolling as a Minnesota Health Care Programs provider.

A QP must complete required training within six months of hire. The QP must repeat the required qualified professional training when switching PCA provider agencies more than 3 years after completing required training.
