Head Nurse - Quality Improvement - Home Care develops and implements various activities to improve overall quality of organization. Participates in and serves as a resource to quality improvement committees. Being a Head Nurse - Quality Improvement - Home Care tracks and analyzes trends and outcome reports and advises management on areas to improve upon. May be responsible to ensure all institute or government regulations are adhered to. Additionally, Head Nurse - Quality Improvement - Home Care requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Head Nurse - Quality Improvement - Home Care supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Home Visitor
$15.30 Hourly CDA/$15.75 Hourly AA ECE or related field/$17.10 Hourly BA ECE or related field
Benefits:
This position is a home visitor in the home-based program option who is responsible for education, case management, and family advocacy to families in an assigned caseload by providing and linking families to comprehensive services including home visits and socialization activities. This position works with typically developing children and children with disabilities. Because this position is one part of a large system of services provided to children and families, this position also serves as a social service referral person and shares responsibility for parent involvement in the program. The position works in tandem with the rest of the parts of the system as an integrated team to support the goals of the program.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The minimum requirement is a current home-based CDA credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree. AA/BA degree in ECE or related field preferred.
Schedule: Full-Time,8 hours,5 days Mon-Fri 40 hours weekly 52 weeks per year
