JOB SUMMARY:       

Oversees daily operations of the Pediatric clinic to provide patients with the best possible care experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide care to patients under the direction of the attending physician & follow all duties as listed for Rexburg Pediatrics RN/LPN
2. Directs personnel in the care of patients.
3. Acts as a resource for lower level personnel.
4. Will be involved in administrative duties such as:
5. 1. Scheduling
   2. Education
   3. Training
   4. Charting and reviewing of charts.
   5. Resolving or reporting employee issues.
   6. Budget monitoring
   7. Supply management and any necessary tasks for smooth clinic operation.
   8. Hiring of new staff members
   9. Discipline of staff members as needed
   10. Regular evaluations of staff

6.   Ability to work well with others; be a positive example and motivating personality within the clinic.           

1. Work with Medical Director & QA Officer for updating, creating & reviewing Policies & Procedures for the Pediatric Department.
2. Assist in resolving patient concerns.
3. Work with departmental Team Leads to create smooth operation of the clinic and cohesion of the departments.
4. Conduct regular meetings with Team Leads as well as all staff.
5. Oversee clinic training
6. Facilitate good communication between clinic and hospital departments & administration.
7. Review and implement RHC and PCMH Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:  Current licensure as a Registered/Practical Nurse in the State of Idaho.  BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required or must be attained within 6 months of hire.

Experience:  Five years in a clinic setting.

Equipment/Technology:  Must be able to use Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.

Language/Communication:  Must have the sensitivity, maturity, and ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.

Mathematical Skills:  General mathematics.

Mental Capabilities:  Can concentrate for long periods of time in order to complete assigned tasks with a better than average attention span in order to listen, read and remember verbal and written instructions.  Can understand input from the manager and/or Director concerning errors and instructions.

Interpersonal:  Ability to work well with others.

Performance:   Full time position requiring some weekends and holidays.
