Being a Head Nurse - Pediatrics maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Full-time RN position available for an individual who is dependable, energetic, enthusiastic and willing to work hard. A busy primary care pediatric practice with a pleasant work environment in Newark, Delaware, is looking to fill a position for a medical assistant for approximately 35 to 40 hours per week. Hours include one evening per week (12:00pm - approximately 7:00pm).
Responsibilities include: * Rooming patients with manual vital signs and weight (Practice uses an electronic medical record so must feel comfortable using a computer.) *Stock exam rooms daily. *Administer immunizations to pediatric patients newborn to age 18. * Manage telephone messages from patients, calls from providers and pharmacies in a professional and efficient manner. * Make appointments for patients and be able to check patients in and out.*
