Head Nurse - Pediatrics directs nursing service activities for assigned pediatric patients. Delegates responsibilities to pediatric staff nurses; supervises preparation and maintenance of pediatric patient clinical records, and writes reports on pediatrics staff performance and services rendered. Being a Head Nurse - Pediatrics maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Head Nurse - Pediatrics requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Pediatrics manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. HSI is looking for a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Our CRNPs provide diversified health care and assist in administering comprehensive, continuous, personalized primary health care. The Nurse Practitioner facilitates the entrance of individuals into the health care system and provides care to the ambulatory patients. The CRNP may also coordinate the primary care of patients and refer them to appropriate secondary care through the physician preceptor. HSI CNRP manage common episodic and chronic illness in collaboration with the physician preceptor and in accordance with written protocols.
This position typically works a standard schedule of 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday, however, schedule adjustments may be necessary based on need.
