Head Nurse - Occupational Health directs nursing service activities for occupational health services. Develops and conducts training programs to promote employee safety in the workplace. Being a Head Nurse - Occupational Health conducts regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify any health or safety hazards. Maintains records, investigates accidents and injuries, prepares appropriate reports for OSHA, and ensures compliance with all occupational health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations. Additionally, Head Nurse - Occupational Health coordinates the procurement, review, and project management of contracts and service agreements with outside vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Occupational Health manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. First Choice Occupational Health is looking for enthusiastic, experienced Nurse Practitioner to fill a part time position in their Naperville location. Part time schedule is a commitment of minimum 2-3 day shifts (8am - 6pm) per week (Mon-Fri). We are a walk in immediate care clinic but mostly provide occupational health services, including pre-employment physicals, DOT physicals, and work comp for several companies in the area.
The ideal candidate would have a current DOT certification. Minimum of 1 year ER, urgent care or occupational health experience is preferred, but not required.
