Delegates responsibilities to auxiliary and obstetrics staff nurses; supervises preparation and maintenance of obstetrics patient clinical records, and writes reports on obstetrics room staff performance and services rendered. Being a Head Nurse - Obstetrics maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Job Summary: Full-time and Part-time Position available; 2-4 days per week, No weekend, evening or holiday hours; Office only, no call schedule
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasonographer to join our friendly and compassionate Ultrasound team. As an Ultrasonographer, you would be responsible for performing high quality ultrasound imaging in OB and GYN and assist in the daily routines of the ultrasound department. Your expertise will play a crucial role in providing accurate and high-quality scans for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound scans on patients using specialized equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to alleviate any concerns or anxiety in a compassionate, friendly demeanor
- Assist the physicians in the performance of diagnostic procedures under ultrasound guidance
- Adjust equipment settings to optimize image quality
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to the physicians
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to determine appropriate diagnostic tests
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and comply with professional and ethical standards
Qualifications:
- Must have a degree in Diagnostic Medical Imaging
- Obtain ARDMS OB/GYN registration within 6 months of hiring
- Experience preferred; Proficiency in performing a variety of ultrasound procedures
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret images is required
- Excellent interpersonal skills and positive, professional demeanor
- Strong work ethic, regular attendance and timeliness required
