Head Nurse - Obstetrics jobs in Raleigh, NC
Head Nurse - Obstetrics directs nursing service activities for assigned patients in the delivery room and birthing units. Delegates responsibilities to auxiliary and obstetrics staff nurses; supervises preparation and maintenance of obstetrics patient clinical records, and writes reports on obstetrics room staff performance and services rendered. Being a Head Nurse - Obstetrics maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Head Nurse - Obstetrics requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Obstetrics manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Nurse - Obstetrics typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Responsibilities and Duties
Beverage inventory specialists travel to bars & restaurants to perform audits of alcohol inventory which can include lifting and weighing kegs (up to 150 lbs at a time), weighing liquor bottles, and providing reporting on audits.
Typical work hours are M-Thursday 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. However, we are very flexible to scheduling needs and can typically provide accommodations
Responsibilities & qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Have a valid driver's license
- Able to lift 150 lbs
- Hands-on quick learner
- Detail oriented
- Self-driven and trusted to work independently
No previous experience is required as we provide training.

Starting Salary: Starting at $16.00/hr with potential for a merit-based pay increase after a 90-day review
