Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
3. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Obstetrics RN preferred.
4. Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in obstetric nursing practices and procedures.
5. Proficient in monitoring and interpreting fetal heart rates.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with patients and their families.
7. Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, particularly in high-stress situations.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
9. Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
10. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
