Head Nurse - Obstetrics directs nursing service activities for assigned patients in the delivery room and birthing units. Delegates responsibilities to auxiliary and obstetrics staff nurses; supervises preparation and maintenance of obstetrics patient clinical records, and writes reports on obstetrics room staff performance and services rendered. Being a Head Nurse - Obstetrics maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Head Nurse - Obstetrics requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Obstetrics manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude to fill our Administrative Assistant position. Candidates should be able to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and other duties relating to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fiscal operations and basic accounting. To be successful as an Administrative Assistant, candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive to detail while also possessing a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn other fiscal management software. As a minimum requirement, the applicant must have a high school diploma or GED with two years of direct experience working with purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. Experience with ADP is a plus. Applicant must possess a basic understanding of accounting systems and have at least one year of direct experience working with an accounting system general ledger and budget. An associate degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
