Director of Nursing: Transforming Healthcare Excellence

We are currently seeking a Director of Nursing who is passionate about home health care and eager to lead our team in delivering unparalleled care to our patients. This position is not just about management; it's about innovation, transformation, and elevating the standards of home health care. Full-time position, Monday - Friday in the Daytona Beach office! Select paid holidays and rotating weekends for answering after-hours calls. We are a non deemed, Joint Commission Accredited agency, working with commercial insurance, workers comp, long-term care policies, and private pay patients only.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Lead by example and foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Develop and execute strategies to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

• Clinical Oversight: Ensure that clinical protocols and practices adhere to regulatory standards and best practices. Provide guidance and support to our team of nurses, enabling them to provide exceptional care.

• Team Development: Mentor and develop nursing staff, nurturing their skills and promoting a culture of growth and professional development. Inspire and motivate the team to reach their full potential.

• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the leadership team, including administrators, physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure seamless coordination of care and exceptional patient experiences.

• Quality Assurance: Implement initiatives to monitor and improve quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and outcomes. Use evidence-based practices and innovative solutions to enhance the overall quality of care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

• Active RN license in Florida required, with at least 3 years of clinical experience in home health care preferred.

• Kinnser/Wellsky EMR experience or willingness to learn required.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a nursing management role, exhibiting strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a history of success.

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in home health care bonus if your experience is with the Joint Commission , our accrediting body.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
