Head Nurse - Infection Control directs nursing services activities for infection control. Supervises the implementation and maintenance of infection control policies and procedures as set forth by the infection control committee. Being a Head Nurse - Infection Control ensures isolation protocols are followed and that appropriate state and county organizations are notified of any reportable diseases. Prepares management reports as appropriate. Additionally, Head Nurse - Infection Control requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Infection Control manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Nurse - Infection Control typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Responsibilities:
Removal of webs from home exteriors/garages using cob web broom
Ability to inspect, identify, and treat for various pest issues after training
Ability to enter tight areas in crawlspaces
Application of chemical based products (some organic oils) on home interiors, exteriors, crawlspaces and garages using hand tanks and backpack battery powered sprayers.
Ability to exterminate mice, voles and gophers using traps/poisons
Maintain friendly demeanor interacting with customers in 100 degree weather
Arrive on time to customer appointments without oversight
Fill out chemical sheets after each appointment using a smart device
Qualifications:
Current and valid United States driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
Great verbal skills
Smart phone
Self-motivated individual able to run their own daily route
One year of pest control experience (preferred not required)
Familiarity of the smart phone software and GPS
Ability to fill-out chemical sheets after training
Strong written communication skills with a keen eye for details in documents
Willingness to work long hours to complete jobs on schedule and meet standards of quality
Physical dexterity to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
Knowledge of safe working practices.
Position start date will be 5/1/2024 or sooner.
