Head Nurse - Industrial directs nursing service activities in an industrial setting. Provides care to patients with emergency industrial accidents and surgery outpatients. Being a Head Nurse - Industrial plans and conducts training programs to promote employee health and safety in the workplace. Delegates responsibilities to auxiliary and industrial staff nurses. Additionally, Head Nurse - Industrial maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Industrial manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Nurse - Industrial typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Qualifications: Basic knowledge of proper housekeeping, floor care, and maintenance procedures; ability to learn proper equipment operation and new procedures; human relations skills; ability to lift sixty (60) pounds.

Responsibilities:
1. Perform general custodial duties including floor care and general cleaning.
2. Maintain outside appearance of building, walks, and alley.
3. Perform snow removal.
4. Assist other building personnel with special projects.
5. Acquire general knowledge of building mechanical systems.
6. Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the building manager or the custodial supervisor.
Performing the job duties of this position requires the following physical demands: lift fifty (50) lbs. occasionally, additional occasional lifting less than 50 lbs., reaching, standing, walking, carrying, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, sitting, and/or crawling.
