Head Nurse - Industrial jobs in Maine

Newport Industrial Fabrication (NIF) is an industry leader in the fabrication of complex structural steel projects, developing a diverse portfolio of projects that includes pedestrian bridges, building facades, and spiral staircases that can be found across the country from Boston to San Diego. NIF is an accredited AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) company, meeting and/or exceeding industry standards in key areas such as processes/procedures, safety, and quality control. Our experienced team of project managers and fabricators represent a deep pool of skill and experience and allow NIF to tackle projects large and small.

Work activities:

• Mix coating material per technical requirements
• Spray paint with industrial airless sprayer
• Masking, roller and brush application
• Maintain all documentation and PM procedures required by technical plans
• Coatings Preparation and Abrasive Blast

Requirements:

• Understanding of spray equipment
• Basic math skills
• Reading and understanding of product data sheets
• Read and understand project blue prints and requirements
• Follow all safety rules and requirements
• Wear, clean, inspect, and store all required PPE properly

Physical requirements include:

• Able to work in a respirator
• Climb ladders
• Lift 75 pounds
• Work on elevated platforms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
