Head Nurse - Industrial directs nursing service activities in an industrial setting. Provides care to patients with emergency industrial accidents and surgery outpatients. Being a Head Nurse - Industrial plans and conducts training programs to promote employee health and safety in the workplace. Delegates responsibilities to auxiliary and industrial staff nurses. Additionally, Head Nurse - Industrial maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Industrial manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Nurse - Industrial typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     • To provide a successful, safe and supervised educational setting for children, birth to 3 years, while they are in the EHS environment.
    • To promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of EHS children. Encourage parental involvement in all aspects of the program.


    Education Requirements:

    • CDA in Infants and Toddlers
    • High School Diploma/GED


    Job Related Requirements:

    • Head Start experience
    • Three or more years of Head Start experience or equivalent preschool teaching preferred
    • Ability to speak Spanish is desirable/essential
