Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Head Golf Professional requires an active Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) membership. Typically reports to a golf course general manager. The Head Golf Professional manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. The Assistant Golf Professional’s role at Terranea Resort is an opportunity for a progressive, energetic PGA Class A Professional or PGA Associate to be integrally involved operation of a 9-hole par-3 golf course within the only oceanfront destination resort in Los Angeles. In addition to the 9-holes, a short-game practice area comprised of a large putting green and separate chipping green will provide an ideal environment for short game lessons and clinics. The golf operations team will interact and collaborate closely with other recreation and service departments of the resort.
