Being a Head Golf Professional coordinates marketing programs to promote the facility's services to potential customers and oversees member events and daily play. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Head Golf Professional requires an active Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) membership. Typically reports to a golf course general manager. The Head Golf Professional manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. The Head Golf Professional’s role at Terranea Resort is an opportunity for a progressive, energetic PGA professional to be integrally involved in the operation and group sales of a 9-hole par-3 golf course within the only oceanfront destination resort in Los Angeles. This key leadership role will play an integral part in the overall success of our golf operations at the resort. The Head Golf Professional will be responsible for overseeing staffing, scheduling, tournament ang group golf operations, and instruction to ensure an exceptional golf experience for our guests. In addition to the 9-holes, a short-game practice area comprised of a large putting green and separate chipping green, and a 3 golf simulator studios will provide an ideal environment for short game lessons and clinics. The golf department will work closely with all departments to ensure an excellent guest experience.

Base Pay Start Rate: $64,400 - $75,000/ Yr. Commission
