The Town of Brookline Recreation Department is seeking a seasonal Assistant Golf Professional. The Assistant Golf Pro assists the Head Golf Professional in managing the day-to-day golf operations of the golf facility.
The position is responsible for supervising and managing the total golf operations in the absence of the Head Golf Professional.
All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of customer service and total satisfaction of all customers.
Responsibilities include customer service, daily golf shop operations, inventory control, tee sheet and POS management, conducting tournaments and outings, maintaining the handicap database, teaching clinics, supervising pace-of-play and starting of play, golf cart fleet management, driving range management, and staff supervision.
Qualifications :
Strong customer service skills required and the ability to plan and multitask. Prior golf operations experience preferred.
Candidates should have a high school diploma and be actively pursuing the steps towards PGA membership.
