Forge Forward is looking for a Librarian to support the N4 Directorate at NOSSA in Indian Head, MD.
Requires 3-7 years of experience working in the field of library and informational sciences. Prior experience as a DoD contractor a plus. Position will be hybrid. On-site time and remote work ability will be determined by the needs of the client. Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance.
Responsible for managing and administering integrated methods, enabling the organization to identify, capture, catalog, classify, retrieve and share intellectual capital and information content. Methods may include utilizing processes and tools (e.g. databases, documents, policies, procedures) and expertise pertaining to the organization.
Requires knowledge of the capabilities and functionalities associated with various content creation technologies. Promotes knowledge sharing between information owners/users through an organization’s operational process and systems. Manages the indexing/cataloguing, storage and access of explicit organizational knowledge (e.g. hard copy documents, digital files). Monitors and reports the usage of knowledge management assets and resources.
