The Athletic Department seeks candidates to fill a full-time, benefit eligible Head Athletic Trainer role in December. The Head Athletic Trainer will provide leadership, direction, and guidance in coordinating sports medicine coverage for the Wells College Intercollegiate Athletics program (NCAA Division III). In conjunction with the contracted Assistant Athletic Trainer, responsible for providing practice and event coverage as noted by National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) guidelines. Responsible for the rehabilitation of intercollegiate athletics related sports injuries.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent interpersonal communication, decision making and athletic training skills. Must be motivated and well organized. Knowledge of NCAA Division III regulations certified in athletic training by the BOC, licensed in New York State and certified in CPR and AED. Knowledge of NCAA Health and Safety Guidelines governing Covid-19, Concussions and other medical conditions and illness is preferred.
