    The Athletic Trainer shall provide athletic training services to local college and high school students during daily practices and through scheduled contests and games.  The Athletic Trainer also serves as a liaison between the family physicians and specialists, the school district, athletes and their parents.  Additional services may be provided with Community Hospital rehabilitation services for patients or assisting in the orthopedics/sports medicine clinic.

    • Current licensure as an Athletic Trainer by the State of Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is required
    • Athletic training experience in a clinical or school environment or through student rotations preferred.
    • Certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATABOC) required.
    • BLS certification required.
