Responsibilities:

• Work daily with customers to build relationships and foster sales
• Plan effective weekly merchandise orders for the store
• Communicate and maintain working relationships with outside vendors
• Demonstrate ability to lead employees and promote a professional atmosphere.
• Coordinate training and development of new and current staff
• Prepare agenda for monthly store meetings, including staff evaluation.
• Maintain appearance of store, internally and externally
• Create effective store merchandising to drive sales and influence customers

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail management, hardware or building materials
• Effective communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Ability to work and adapt effectively under pressure
• Computer proficiency is a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,000.00 - $54,500.00 per year
