Signalscape is looking for an FPGA designer with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) skills. This position will work in a fast-paced environment developing performance-critical custom network interface hardware. Working in a small team environment you will be empowered to innovate creative solutions to ensure customer success. This position requires an understanding of the FPGA design process in creating specifications, preliminary and critical design reviews, test plan generation and system integration and test.

• Develop FPGA custom hardware resources to develop Software Defined Radio (SDR) transceiver systems and solutions.
  
• Simulate the FPGA to verify performance, then integrate and test the FPGA on the circuit card assembly.
  
• Experience with integrating SDR components into systems and supporting the testing and delivery of these systems.
  
• The workload will be predominantly FPGA but some tasking (10-15%) would be related embedded firmware.
  

Requirements

• BS Degree in electrical/computer engineering
  
• Three years FPGA integrating DSP algorithms
  
• Three years digital system design experience
  
•  One year of embedded Linux design experience
  

Preferred

• Experience with and understanding Xilinx Spartan 6 family of FPGA architectures
  
• Experience designing and implementing DSP modem algorithms for SDR solutions
  
• Proficiency with Xilinx's Vivado development tools to generate FPGA designs
  
• Programming Xilinx embedded code for Zynq, Microblaze, and Zynq processors
