Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Hard Tile Setter relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. GPS equipped Sandvik DX700 and DX 800 top hammer drill rigs, John Henry excavator mounted drill rigs.
Ensure drill logs are complete and provide support to blasting crew.
Preform daily equipment checks and basic drill maintenance.
Apply safety practices and guidelines associated with the project and drilling activities including the wearing of personal protective equipment.
Carries out work based on detailed directives from their hierarchy.
Professional Certifications.
Prefer minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a driller.
Required to pass drug screening and PAT (physical abilities test).
Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear).
Frequent exposure to loud noises.
Regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles.
