  • Position Summary



    Supervise, oversee and direct drop/count operations in Casino and Count Room. This position will have access to sensitive areas within the Count rooms, and drop information as necessary.



    Supervision Exercised



    Reports to the Count Manager and lead the work of assigned personnel.



    Major Duties and Responsibilities



    • Supervising, leading and instructing the work of the drop/count staff.
    • Overseeing bill collection from slot and video machines.
    • Opens Bill acceptors, Table game, Poker and Bad Beat Poker boxes and performs count.
    • Direct receipt, count and recording of money received from table games, poker and slots.
    • Ensuring compliance with the system of internal controls.
    • Reconciling cash counts and other paperwork on a daily basis.
    • Coordinating of Security escorts for drops.
    • Direct timely drops, counts and cash transfers.
    • Generating computer reports and preparing hard copies to submission to the auditing department.
    • Cleaning currency counters on a daily basis.
    • Documenting repairs and scheduling maintenance and service of equipment regularly.
    • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

    • Ability to supervise, lead, train, and direct the work of assigned staff.
    • Ability to receive, count and sort currency in large amounts.
    • Ability to prepare and maintain non-routine records and reports.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Ability to deal effectively with the public and casino staff.
    • Ability to develop work schedules and assign employees.
    • Knowledge of drop/count and cashier cage operations highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of Casino cash receipts and reporting requirements.
    • Knowledge of basic accounting functions.
    • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

    Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience



    Required:

    • High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
    • Two (2) years supervisory/cash handling experience.
    • Must be at least 21 years of age.

    Preferred:

    • Prior Casino hard count/money room experience.


    Licensing Status



    • Must be able to obtain and maintain the require Gaming License.
    • Will require a post-offer, pre-employment and random drug screening.


    Working Conditions



    • Work is performed indoors and outdoors. Outdoor work is subject to extreme temperatures and inclement weather conditions.
    • Work hours are subject to change with overtime work required.
    • Must be able to have a flexible work schedule to be able to work weekends and holidays if needed.
    • Subject to hazards, which may cause personal bodily harm; smoke, common colds, influenza, dust, odors and elevated noise levels.
    • Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft-carpeted floors, outdoor surfaces, cement structures and surfaces.
    • Duties may involve walking, standing for long periods of time, sitting and crouching.
    • Specifically required movements include the following:
    • Trunk - bend, twist, rotate, push, pull, carry
    • Arms – reach, carry, lift, twist, and rotate
    • Legs – lift, push, pull, twist, and rotate
    • Hands – Grasp, manipulate, bilateral coordination, hand and eye coordination, overall and finger dexterity.
    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to push/pull carts weighing 2000 lbs dexterity
    • Must be able to work under stringent conditions.
