SUMMARY: Collecting of currency and coin drop boxes from the slot and card room areas of the gaming floor. Counting and recording of collected money using currency counters, coin sorters, and manual counting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all phases of revenue drop and count, ensures that drop and count is performed in accordance with Casino policies and procedures, ensures that controlled keys and drop funds are secure at all times.
Pulls drop buckets and currency acceptor boxes, counts currency acceptor drop funds, blackjack drop boxes and poker rake boxes.
Counts and racks coins from the slot drop cabinets.
Transfers counted funds to the Vault Cashier.
All other duties as assigned (non-gaming functions and issued gaming license permitting).
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED required. Should have some math ability.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift a total of sixty-five pounds, stand, stoop, and bend without difficulty.
