Hand Compositor/Typesetters sets type by hand and machine. Assembles type and cuts in galley for printing articles, headings, and other printed matter. Being a Hand Compositor/Typesetters determines type size, style, and compositional pattern from work order. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Hand Compositor/Typesetters may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Our client is looking for a ranch hand in the $18-$20 / hr range depending on experience. Responsibilities include; feeding & care for 6-12 horses, mucking out stables, exercising horses (riding experience is a must), inventory and ordering feed, vet supplies, etc.
maintaining all equipment in the tack room and other ranch chores as designated by our client. Applicants must be able to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
