Position: Farm Hand/Equipment Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain agricultural equipment such as sprayers, spreaders, and other machinery used for applying fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides.
• Follow instructions and safety guidelines to ensure accurate and efficient application of agricultural inputs.
• Calibrate equipment to ensure precise application rates and coverage.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust application schedules accordingly to optimize effectiveness and minimize environmental impact.
• Keep detailed records of applications, including product used, rates applied, and areas treated.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime.
• Communicate with farm managers and agronomists to coordinate application schedules and discuss field conditions.
• Stay informed about new products, techniques, and regulations related to custom application services.
• Uphold safety standards and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following chemical handling protocols.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to accomplish farm goals and tasks as needed.

Are You Qualified?

• Able to work overtime and occasional weekends.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be willing and able to maintain a Class A CDL and appropriate endorsements (with our assistance).
• Must be willing to submit to a DOT drug test and background.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
