We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bindery Worker to join our team. As a Bindery Worker, you will be responsible for operating various machinery and equipment to finish printed materials. Your expertise in quality control and print advertising will be essential in ensuring the production of high-quality printed materials.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate bindery equipment such as cutting machines, laminating machines and collating machines
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met
- Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Proficient in typography and color management to ensure accurate reproduction of designs
- Strong attention to detail to perform quality control checks on finished products
- Knowledge of print advertising techniques and requirements
- Experience operating machining or press equipment is preferred
- Forklift operation experience is a plus
- Familiarity with prepress processes and CNC machinery is beneficial
- Basic graphic design skills are desirable
