Welcome to Township Line Road Farms! We are a family-owned and operated farm located in Western Ohio. We farm approximately 2,200 acres of corn and soybeans and have a Holstein/angus crossed cattle operation. Our main focus is the cattle operation where we have a feedlot where we start the herd at 300Ibs fats with multiple local locations. We are hiring a Feedlot Hand to join our team in Coldwater, Ohio (about an hour southeast of Fort Wayne, Indiana). In this role you will be primarily responsible for maintaining the overall health of our cattle herd on the feedlot.

This is a generational farm, and we continue to grow as we have tripled the number of cattle over the last several years. We pride ourselves on maintaining that family-like atmosphere and treat our employees as members of our own family.

What you will be doing:

• Maintaining the overall herd health of cattle in the feedlot.
• Mixing feed using Performance Beef app on company iPad.
• Walking through pen to spot, diagnose, and treat sick cattle.
• Operate tractors and loaders to mix feed.
• Assist in entire cattle operation including but not limited to ear tagging, giving vaccines and implants, clean and bedding pens.
• Assist in all other areas on farming operation when needed.

This job is for you if you have:

• Prior farm – agriculture experience is preferred but not required.
• Prior cattle experience is preferred but not required.
• An overall passion for agriculture and cattle.
• Outstanding work ethic with good morals.
• Ability to work in both an individual and team setting.
