HVAC Field Supervisor
Pay range between $50-60 / hr for qualified candidates, depending on years of experience and management ability.
About the Role
As a Field Supervisor for our HVAC division, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage a team of skilled workers and tradespeople engaged in residential installation projects.
You will be expected to lead crews dedicated to designing, fabricating, and installing ducted and ductless systems. This is a working leadership role, where you'll bring your HVAC expertise to ensure the correct installation and startup of mini-split systems.
You'll be responsible for troubleshooting and problem-solving during system startup and will mentor junior installers to deliver high-quality work.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with Forge and industry standards and project specifications.
This role is approximately 60% field-based and 40% office-based.
What You Will Do :
Conduct on-site installation and start-up of systems, including ducted and ductless systems
Conduct system assessments and provide recommendations for upgrades or replacements
Troubleshoot and perform repairs and replacements on HVAC systems
Lead and mentor junior crew members
Maintain project and customer documentation
Ensure site safety and compliance with codes
Conduct quality control checks on completed jobs to ensure work meets industry standards and client requirements
Maintain a professional attitude with customers, partners, peers, and vendors
Communicate and coordinate with office project coordinators in a timely manner
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and make recommendations for adoption or integration into the company's services
Keep an assigned company vehicle organized, clean, and stocked
Your Qualifications
10 years experience as a residential HVAC professional
Prior experience as a field supervisor is preferred
Experience training junior helpers while running a profitable job start-to-finish
Able to estimate and quote jobs
Able to use and adapt to technology with some training
Able to lift 50 pounds, stand, bend, stoop, reach and climb ladders
Valid driver's license
Available to work full-time with flexibility to work after hours if needed
Authorized to work in the U.S.
