HRIS Manager manages and oversees an organization's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Develops, implements, and modifies software and hardware requirements based on changing business requirements. Being a HRIS Manager maintains internal database files and tables, and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of company management and staff. Provides the necessary training to meet end users needs. Additionally, HRIS Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to Director. The HRIS Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. The Job
Manage and maintain the organization's Human Resources systems, including the Human Capital Management (HCM) solution and the Learning Management System (LMS), in support of the HR department and its use of technology to drive business results
You Will
Manage the day-to-day operations of HR systems to provide a positive user experience and ensure quality and consistency of data and processes. This includes all components of the HCM to manage the employee lifecycle and manager/employee self-service (including Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits, Talent Management, Employee File Management, Case Management, and the LMS (Reporting, and UI design).
Work collaboratively with the Human Resources team to review system functionality, processes, and workflow. Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend strategies and options to maximize technology and improve data management and efficiency. In partnership with Director, plan, design, and execute approved system solutions.
Lead and/or participate in projects involving HR technology, security, data integrity and business processes. Identify, analyze, design, test, and implement system improvements and associated procedures to drive projects to completion.
Develop training tools and job aids designed for all types of system users. Interact with system users to provide support, troubleshooting assistance, and training as needed.
Support the regular/ongoing HR Systems initiatives, i.e. annual performance management, open enrollment, Talent Profile, etc.
Manage system upgrades and vendor releases of new functionality. This includes a thorough review of the functionality, testing, identifying and assessing the impact to current processes, and coordinating the implementation/roll out to users.
Support HR compliance reporting in areas such as EEO, Vets, and Affirmative Action.
Conduct data review and audits to ensure data integrity.
Generate ad-hoc reports to provide timely and accurate data.
Develop and maintain HRIS documentation including processes and procedures.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and participating in professional societies.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Actively support the achievement of SCAN’s Vision and Goals.
