The HR Systems Administrator oversees the HR Information System (HRIS) and the internal HR SharePoint platform to facilitate the effective realization and acceptance of the department's strategic goals related to data and information management. This role involves assessing process design and workflow to optimize the use of technological capabilities. Additionally, it serves as a technical expert for the HRIS and SharePoint systems, ensuring data accuracy, system deployment, modifications, upgrades, and analyzing workflows for potential process enhancements.

Salary Range - $80,000 - 100,000
Essential Functions
- Act as the primary business lead and point of contact for the maintenance, configuration management, access control, data quality management, and mass data uploads of HR systems.
- Hands-on involvement in configuring, administering, and managing various HR systems, including the core HR/Payroll system, time and attendance, performance, recruiting, on-boarding, and learning.
- Offer insights and thought leadership to advance HR technology and solutions that support and underpin HR initiatives and the broader People agenda of the organization.
- Collaborate in the development of HR technology policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with business rules, data security, privacy principles, and enforcement of compliance in critical areas.
- Oversee ongoing relationships with internal and external vendors, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and effective management of system updates.
- Effectively mitigate HR technology-related risks in collaboration with the IT and Risk Management teams.
- Manage all facets of testing, implementation, reporting, end-user training, and support for designated HR systems.
- Execute system upgrades, ensuring thorough testing, issue resolution, and the achievement of established goals within specified timelines.
- Maintain system accuracy and data integrity through audit checks, security updates, impact assessments of upgrades, and creation of safeguards.
- Develop processes that enhance system usability and reporting capabilities.
- Create, maintain, and provide support for a variety of reports and queries using appropriate reporting tools.
- Supervise vendor support cases.
- Identify and prioritize internal customer needs and provide appropriate responses to support requests.
- Demonstrate expertise in system administration best practices.
- Act as the administrator for the Human Resources page on the organization's SharePoint intranet site.
- Participate in departmental audits and projects, contributing to the preparation of metrics, reports, and presentations as directed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and state, federal, and provincial laws.
- Attend department meetings and engage in continuous education opportunities.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of all Human Resources, employee, and company information and data.
- Display a willingness to actively engage in initiatives that have a significant impact on the organization.
- Fulfill any other responsibilities necessary to advance the organization's vision, mission, and values.
