HeartLand, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and data-driven professional to join our growing Human Resources team as an HRIS Analyst.

The Opportunity:
The HRIS Analyst works closely with the Human Resources team to maintain the organizations HRIS applications and modules. This position is responsible for using discretion and good judgment in maintaining all employee records, administering all benefits in the HRIS system, and ensuring the integrity of all data in HR systems to produce business intelligence. This position works closely with HR leadership and various members of all HeartLand operating companies. The role reports to the Director of Human Resources. The HRIS Analyst’s focuses on three areas:
HRIS Administration:
- Assist with successful implementation of HRIS, Benefits selection system, Applicant Tracking System, and PTO tracking systems during the integration process.
- Creates user accounts, manages access & permissions, and provides training, guidance, technical support, & troubleshooting to all HRIS users.
- Design and share reports with others on the HR or Accounting teams and facilitate sharing HR data with other HeartLand business analytics tools.
- Maintains data integrity in systems by running reports and analyzing data.
- Provide oversight of HRIS data entries to assure accurate consistent data management throughout company.
- Audits employment records for EEOC, DHS (I9), FLSA, DOL, 401(k) and other benefit compliance.
- Answer employee Paycor questions and assist with any employee issue.
- Manage the HRIS inbox and respond to inquiries accordingly.
- Create and maintain Org Charts for all companies.
Benefit Administration:
- Process enrollments, changes, and terminations for all benefits.
- Review all benefit invoices for accuracy, provide to operating companies for review, correct as needed, and allocate charges to the operating companies for on-time payment.
- Ensure timely delivery of HeartLand benefits data and reports regarding 401k, HSA, FSA, etc. to benefits providers and to internal HeartLand stakeholders.
- Serve as first point of contact for benefits questions coming from Regional and local HR professionals.
Other Human Resources Duties:
- Assist with the employment verification process.
- Create and maintain Org Charts for all companies.
- Maintain HR dashboard and provide analysis of HRIS and Benefits programs as requested.
- HR projects and other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources
Key Performance Metrics
The HRIS Analyst will largely be evaluated on their ability to maintain an accurate HRIS system and respond to Human Resources needs. Specifically, the following will be areas of evaluation:
- HRIS data accuracy.
- On-time completion of benefits administrative duties.
- Assisting employees and HR team in a consistent and timely manner.
- High level of responsiveness and positive customer satisfaction feedback.
If this sounds exciting to you, we are seeking a leader with these qualifications:
- 2 years’ progressive experience using and managing HRIS systems.
- Strict attention to detail, with exceptional time management, organizational and follow-up skills
- Preferably have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Paycor experience is a plus.
