The HR Administrator works with the HR and Payroll Team and is responsible for the day to day implementation of the following:

Responsibilities:

• Process new employee pre hire applications; run criminal background checks, and schedule applicants for drug screens when required.
• Provide hiring manager the applicants clearance to start work; email/phone follow up with hiring manager for final application documents.
• Check employee's final paper application for accuracy and make sure all forms are included.
• Issue employee ID number using excel spreadsheet, data enter employee information into payroll system prior to payroll processing.
• Review I9 forms, work authorization documents, for accuracy and completeness.
• Create employee file on server and file application.
• Calculate employee vacation and sick time accruals when requested using Excel.

Required Skills:

• This position is heavy data entry and requires organization and attention to detail.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and meet daily deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Must be a self starter and able to work independently making decisions.
• Experience with ADP and/or Paychex a plus.
• This position is in person, in an office environment, not hybrid or remote.
• BiLingual English /Spanish speaking a plus.
