Job Title: Electrician

Shift: 1st Shift, Mon - Thursday: 7:00am - 5:30 pm (4-10's) on call as needed.

Comp: $29 - 34/HR

Job Summary:

The Electrician reports to the Site Supervisor and support him to provide quality workmanship and high work standards to maintain a professional working environment. Primary responsibilities of this position is to be responsible for the more complex electrical issues associated with facility maintenance systems at the facility and performing general maintenance of equipment as required. Knowledge of and capable to perform electrical maintenance/repairs and various general tasks assigned. Qualified applicant must be a US Citizen, possess a valid driver's license and have at least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in facilities/electrical maintenance and dealing with a wide range of general type services. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Communicates effectively with Site Supervisor to determine service needs. Coordinates and supervise client sub-contractors while performing service on site.

Electrical maintenance and repair skills. PM, troubleshoot and repair equipment as required.

Building automation monitoring and adjustments.

Respond to electrical issues, lighting repairs/bulb replacements, circuit failures and installations.

Performs a wide variety of corrective maintenance work request.

Assist other skilled employees to perform projects as requested.

Assist the Team in maintaining, operating and troubleshooting the electrical systems, emergency generator, lighting systems and general maintenance issues such as plumbing and other general maintenance problems.

Qualifications:

HS Diploma

3 - 5 years of experience related to HVAC facility maintenance.

Valid US driver's license

Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance - Active clearance preferred.

Apprentice Electrical license at minimum

NFPA 70E training certification (National Fire Protection Assn.)

Experience utilizing various electrical testing equipment, voltages up to 600V, and the National Electric Code (NEC). Experience with three phase electrical

Knowledge of test equipment for relays, circuit breakers, and infrared scanning.

Ability to read and understand repair manuals, specifications, drawings, and schematic diagrams. High voltage switch gear experience and PLC programming knowledge.

Organization skills to maintain the client facility maintenance records and reports.

Time management skills to coordinate and supervise the client sub-contractors while on site and manage to complete the daily routine tasks assigned.
